A question about : Worth the hassle to Switch for bonus? (joint > singles)
The reason I say hassle is that me and my wife have a joint bank account, mortgage etc.
To take advantage of the switching bonuses I considered each of us switching and thus receiving 2x bonuses.
But obviously this can't happen from a joint account into 2 single accounts.
So I guess I'd have to go into our current bank (santander) and close/split up our joint account, each set up a current account THEN use the switching service.
Doesn't seem worth the hassle - but is there an easier way to do this? Thought maybe someone else had done it from a similar situation.

- Never knew you could do that. Guess that's going to be easy enough then - thanks.
I'll get in touch with the bank then and open one of those then start the switching process off.
