A question about : Wii U

I just bought a Wii U over the weekend, now I was hoping those who have experience with the Wii U menu may able to help.

When I select Wii Menu from the option it suggests it requires a Wii Remote. I've always disliked the Wii Remote and was wondering has anyone used a Pro Controller to navigate through the Wii Menu.

I am not referring to the normal menu of the Wii U where you can select Love Film, NetFlix, etc I am referring to the Wii Menu option available on the main screen. As I am hoping to buy a Pro controller as oppose to that remote.

• Sadly the Wii menu is an emulated version of the old Wii interface for backwards compatibility . As such it requires the use of a remote. Hope this helps.
