A question about : Wedding photo book (MSE worthy!!)
I'm just waiting for our photos to come back from our photographer, and wondering if anyone can recommend a good place to go for us to get the photos made into a wedding album.
The photos will be electronic, so I'm looking for somewhere that will print them as a book. I know places like Boots, Snapfish, Photobox etc do them, but can anyone actually recommend one that's a good service, and not massively overpriced from first hand experience please?
Best answers:
- My sister in law used blurb for hers and they are gorgeous, have used them lots of times since and never had an issue.
- I used vistaprint. I did there large square glossy book with photo cover and lie flat pages, I really wanted the lie flat pages.
It was around Ј40 but can't remember exactly.
As usual, you can place them, fade them, use them as backgrounds ext.
I also took photos of the paper people wrapped our presents in so that I could use that as backgrounds too, just to make it more personal. - I've had several from Tesco (online) and have always pleased pleased with the quality
- I used Photobox for mine
- Albelli is my favourite because of the frames and the backgrounds you can get.
- I used bob designer and was very happy with the whole service and quality.
- We used Bob books too, so easy to use and great value IMO.
- I used blurb for my honeymoon photos and it's great.
Our actual wedding album was sorted through the photographer...printed in Italy, leather/aluminium binding...in its own brief case. It's lovely, but wasn't MSE! - I used photobox with a 50% off code, paid Ј70 for 140 pages, the square premium one with the padded photo cover and itis amazing, comes in a box too... everyone is shocked at the quality
- Anyone know of a site that lets you customise the background. I'd like to use some of the messages in our cards as a background and then have some photos overlaying it. Haven't spotted anywhere yet, but might be missing it somewhere.
