Hi, I'm going to be buying my wedding dress off eBay and was wondering if anyone has had experience buying from eBay and what seller they used

• Hi! First of all congratulations on your upcoming nuptials .
  As a fellow bride-to-be I have also been looking at wedding dresses from china via Ebay. HOWEVER, a friend of mine has really tried to put me off of the idea, as another friend of hers did exactly that, and - when the dress arrived only a few weeks before her wedding - the measurements were all wrong, and the sewing/beadlework flimsy and falling apart. She was devastated as there was no time to return it or even get it adjusted and put right, and she ended up borrowing the old wedding dress of our mutual friend cause she couldn't afford to buy another so last minute.
  Not wanting to take this horror story as 'the norm', I've also been doing a lot of digging for feedback on the internet. Reviews from others who have gone ahead and done it seem to be mixed, some thrilled with the result, some horrified (like my friend's friend). I think if you order the dress enough in advance that you can facilitate a return or adjustment, it probably be a good move - and something Im considering doing myself - but I suppose it depends on how much money you might have spare/how much you're willing to take that gamble. I have heard that some sellers will send you free fabric swatches, etc, if they're genuine, so that can help you make an informed purchase.
