A question about : V cheap books (london only)
For those who work \ live \ commute through Baker St, the local library is having one of its periodic clearouts.
They have 2 rooms FULL of books (fiction and non-fiction) all at 1 bargain price of a quid a bag (they supply fairly standard size carrier bags for you). I let myself down a little this time, only managed to pack in 19 books for my quid. My all time record is 23.... It's a bit jumble sale like (no dewey decimal system HERE), but if you've 30 mins to burn then there are plenty of bargains. For instance they had a couple of copies of the Dean Koontz latest Odd Thomas (darn! already read them...)
For those interested, here's the webpage for the library with maps addresses numbers etc.
