A question about : upgrading shortly -02

Not sure what to do... Do i wait for 02 to contact me? or do i call them on the day i am due to upgrade?

  • You call them. They won't call you at any point.
  • I'm due an upgrade early March and went into o2 shop last week, they gave me a quote for an Iphone on refresh tariff. I pointed out that over 24 months it was Ј60 more expensive than buying one outright on PAYG and its supposed to be 0% APR to told them to stuff it and i'll go on sim only month by month then see what Sky offer me as I have Sky Tv when they start mobile network using o2.
    now keep on getting calls from o2 trying to keep my custom but no deals other than whats available to Joe Public
  • It would be cheaper to keep your existing handset and switch to a SIM-only contract.
  • I'm due for an upgrade with O2 in a few weeks. They keep phoning me trying to take out a new contract (will be going sim only with Vodafone instead). If you haven't heard from them I'd upgrade via their website.
