A question about : Transferring a large sum of money toCentral America

I am transferring a large amount of money to Central America as I am moving there. I have already transferred some through my bank Barclays and the rate is appalling. Is there any other way I can transfer my money that would get a good rate and be safe. I am a bit nerveous about not using a bank. Do any of the other companies who transfer money have guarentees and are regulated.

  • Use a reputable and FCA authorised money transfer specialist such as Thomas Exchange, they are usually on top of Martin Lewis' travelmoneymax page. They offer special rates for large transfers.
