im going to sheffield and i have bought my ticket from Leeds to sheffield but can i drop off at meadowhall first and then get another train to sheffield? - just realised i have to collect something before going :S

• It depends what kind of ticket you have bought
  If you have bought an advance ticket, then no
  If you have bought an anytime ticket then yes
  Remember not all trains stop at Meadowhall
• If you have a valid ticket for a train that calls at Meadowhall, then yes you may break your journey there (or indeed anywhere else en-route).
  As dzug1 says, if you have an Advance ticket, it won't be valid for break of journey, and additionally the train won't call at Meadowhall either!
