A question about : Toe Separator Champagne Challenge

For some reason !:title=Smile many MoneySavers seem to have an excess of toe separators!!! (see here)

So this is the toe separator champagne challenge. !Whoever can come up with the most creative, interesting and practical use for a raft of these little things will win a bottle of champagne!

Closing date July 20th (however im not quite sure whether i'll make it a site poll to decide the winner or just pick it myself!)

UPDATE
And the winner is....

Well I chose the one that made me laugh the most. And you will probably all disagree, but it was toastie girl with

"Send them all to Boots - they will make nice padding for the walls of the cell for the person who thought of this promotion "

So the champagne goes to her title=Smile

Best answers:

  • chopstick holders
  • Stick randomly to walls for Big Brother house style interior decor?
  • At poncy, pretentious dinner parties. Use for miniature sushi roll presentation.
  • chop them up and use to stuff fabric to make a beanbag type seat!
  • Toothbrush holders
  • Stick them to the bottom of hi-fi equipment etc.
For instance under your freeview box so you don't scratch the top of your TV.
  • Keep them in your make-up bag to put nail file, lip brushes etc in the slots so they're easy to find
  • toast rack.....
    desk tidy
  • Cable tidies to stop cables getting tangled
  • This idea may be a bit left field and quirky for most but here goes. try using them as Toe Seperators for doing your toenails. Could just work if you manipulate them in the right way and have a little patience. Hope this idea helps some folk out there.
    Cheers.
  • Try clipping it on to the bridge of your nose giving yourself a 'snazzy' pair of elton john glasses, this way you can breeze into all the swankiest post Oscar parties for free; and even meet George Michael's of Wham fame!!!!
  • Take them with you on a shopping trip. Place the Toe Separator in the palm of your hand and put the shopping bag handles over the top........thereby preventing the bag handles cutting into your hands.
Use Toe Separators (stuck/linked together) as a wrist support when using your computer keyboard or mouse. This might aleviate repetitive strain injury pain.
  • erm...... FINGER separators ;D
  • How about sticking thirty or so together (flat sides facing) to form a nubbly loaf of bread shape, then sticking several 'loaves' together to make a lovely self-massage cushion for your car or computer chair. Then you can do all your freebie shopping without getting a numb bum.
Maybe you could do another to rest your feet on at the same time.
    Or even...
Glue enough together to cover your whole bed, and low and behold, you've got one of those expensive egg-box thingies to put on your mattress to help bad backs.
I like this thread, it's just like reading Viz Top Tips, only without the rude bits!
  • If you have a friend who is scared of pink caterpillars place a few outside her front door, knock, run away and hide behind a bush, and secretly laugh as they open their door to see their worst pink caterpillar nightmare come true.
  • Ooh! Ooh! I know...
Anyone remember Octons? Octagonal flat shapes with slots in for building models with? (Um, 1970s I think - but they did a later version with more colours.)
Well, what about, wait for it.... 'Bun-yons!'
Get an old chocolate box or similar, throw in as many toe separators as you've got, and give it to some poor unsuspecting child as a Christmas present.
Voila, a delightful and inexpensive game, in a lovely pink, encouraging more girls to play with construction toys.
What's more, the pieces don't hurt your bare feet when you tread on them in the dark.
  • Martin
