A question about : Titan Oil Tank Warranty

Hi all,

I own a property of which I inherited an infamous Titan tank which cracked at the top just before Xmas. I called Kingspan (Titan) and they told me it was covered under warranty but that that didn't include installation and referred me to one of their installation partners who quoted approx. Ј1200 to do the install. I managed to find an independent OFTEC registered tech who will do it for half the price and so far I have only had to pay Titan Ј70 for delivery only.

I have seen a few older threads about this but has anyone had any luck getting the installation costs paid by Titan? I saw a thread about one customer who had checked the warranty booklet and as it didn't explicitly state that warranty excluded installation that the customer shouldnt be liable. Can anyone shed any light on this issue? Thanks in advance.
