It has been brought to my attention that many users miss the thread about Tesco misprices that was previously located on Grabbit. Therefore I have started this thread to try and regain the important information previously enjoyed by the old thread that was one of the most popular threads:

This thread is only for posting any misprices you find at Tescos.

• As a starter I had a very good DTD at Tesco a few days ago:
  Linoti Pinot Grigio SEL Ј3.99 scanned at Ј7.99, purchased 6 bottles and charged Ј47.94. Should have been Ј23.94 so I was overcharged Ј24 so after claiming DTD refunded Ј48 and walked away with 6 bottles of wine.
  The SEL was out of date but Tesco will honour as there is a Tesco Promise board located near customer service. The is a paragraph that states " if we charge you more than the price displayed we will refund you double the difference "
• Brill idea. Only problem is another thread to look through, will never have any time to go out to get all the bargains, so busy reading about them
• Another DTD: Tesco own brand long handled squeeze floor mop: out of date SEL Ј3.73 scans at Ј4.97. So DTD Ј2.48 ( Ј4.97 - Ј3.73= Ј1.24 x 2 = Ј2.48 ).
  The SEL on the items that are hung up are often missed when the offer goes out of date.
• Do they still honor DTD if the sel is out of date??

• I was near a guy today who bought 18 x stella bottles supposed be on Ј7 but scanned at over Ј14 - they simply took the offer tag off this one

  I ment that this thread is only for posting any misprices at TESCO, as opposed to any other store. Hence the second line about discussion, however thank you for your positive contribution and hope you now understand the thread as well as everyone else!!
• tescos extra in cleethorpes today sister bought the x-men trilogy which was labelled Ј7 was charged Ј12 got Ј5 DTD back
• yeah she did but i put Ј5 as that was the extra the other Ј5 is what she had been carged if that makes sense
• been to Mr T this pm and used a number of coupons when paying. Young SA was checking each and every coupon for ages. Was at the checkout for so long, person behind even changed their mind, put their shopping back into trolley and moved to another checkout!
  Was so glad when she had at last finished that I left quite sharpish, only pausing to collect a large pile of new Tesco mags on way out.
  Anyhow, when checking receipt at home I appear to have been over charged approx Ј10+ on 2 items. If I return in the morning, assuming the SEL are still the same they were today can I still get DTD? :confused:
• I got a R&R when I bough some apples. I specificly chose braeburn as at the time, they were the cheapest and I could not afford any of the more expensive apples I really wanted. Yet I was charged for Pink Lady apples (the most expensive ones- double the price when weighing!).
  I took the apples to customer services who refunded the apples entirely for me and then gave me back the apples.
