A question about : Skin Clinics: Bad service & Unreasonable care and skill

Has anyone else had poor service from Skin Clinic for laser hair removal?

I submitted a complaint on 20 October 2014. I received no response and have had to chase several times. Still no reply. It has been 4 months. The Clinic Manager has fobbed me off and is blocking me from having my complaint looked at by the Director.

The main problem/ bad service:
I agreed to laser hair removal only to specific areas of my body but the therapist treated areas I had not given permission to treat. The result is that the treatment stimulated growth and caused unsightly thick hair to grow in these areas.

The last time I was in the branch I witnessed an unhappy customer complaining about the service she received too. The customer was (quite rightly) aggrieved that the branch manager kept sniggering at the customer's concerns, was evasive and 'patronising' (to quote the customer). This customer was offered a full refund on the full course of treatment by the branch manager but the customer was (again, quite rightly) aggrieved as she had (like me) spent thousands of pounds on treatment that was undone by Skin Clinic's failure to give a consistent level of care and skill in service (gaps in laser hair removal treatment can mean starting back from scratch, as advertised by Skin Clinic). To date, I have been offered nothing as a goodwill gesture or to resolve my the problem Skin Clinic caused me.

    I remember looking up at them and found that comments were mixed. Perhaps depends on the location - some very unhappy customers while some others are fine.
