A question about : Signed up with hatched.co.uk yesterday, let's see how it goes....

As the title says, I signed up yesterday and called the office the guy is coming tomorrow for photos and measurements. TBF I have done alot of my own photos and description hope he can just add some pointers.

I have gone for the Ј299 up front and Ј299 on completion.

• We used to rent through Hatched, from when they were a teeny tiny start-up of three blokes in a serviced office. Our experience as a managed tenant was that they were great (gas safety cert always done on time, got things fixed quickly and we stayed renting with them for five years (until we bought our own house). Not directly relevant to buying/selling with them, but they were really good guys.
• What made you choose Hatched Teabag? I intend to use an online when I put my house up, but decided on Housenet.

• All online now which is OK but the Zoopla and Rightmove full descriptions are wrong and we cant edit that bit!!!

• I am bit of torn between whether to use Hatched or Emoov. Although I think Emoov is bit cheaper based on expected sale price range for my house.

• They are wrong because my wife done the description and I told her just to describe each room one by one. she took it very literal and wrote the bad points as well as the good I did edit it but sent the wrong copy to hatched DOH!!
  Cant comment on how they would amend it as I have not asked. I find it quite funny!
  However I have got two viewings already and only went live on Rightmove/Zoopla at 7am THIS MORNING!!

  With my online agent, all revisions took 24 hours to go live (even a bit less, usually before midnight the same day)

• OK so we had a no show viewer! Strange thing was during the time i should have been doing the viewing the home phone rings. It was a estate agent I used to value the house 3 months ago who wanted too much money and have been pestering me for the last 3 weeks. He was saying he had buyers lined up and willing to pay 10k more! And we had undervalued the house. Call me cynical but it is one way of making sure somebody was in! Fake buyer maybe?
  How ever I have 2 more viewings tomorrow lined up.
