A question about : SB: Web shop front software

We run a small internet retail business from home but want to expand this more. Does anyone have any recommendations for a database backed shop front software package that's relatively easy to use?

  • alwayschristmas - we are a new business and have bought the xcart software - www.litecommerce.com - various packs you can buy, we got the most basic (lite) and bought some add-ons to customise the site for our shop.
    Very easy to use, all pages set up as templates which you can edit and add to - anything over and above this you will need knowledge of html.
    Not bad prices as well, we paid Ј80 for the basic pack and then about Ј50 on top of that for extras.
    They've got a really good forum as well so that once you've brought the software you get access to this and loads of technical support/advice from other users.

  • thers www.actinic.co.uk its good software but i would have had trouble loading it, u need a bit of knowledge, simple although.
