  What is a cashback site and how do they work?

  How do I join Quidco?
  Just register at www.quidco.com and complete your details including your email address and preferred payment method.
  Do Quidco provide any referral links or incentives?
  No Quidco don't have a referral scheme at all. They only deduct Ј5 in earnings from each member so don't pay any extra referral bonuses. People recommend Quidco genuinely without any benefit to themselves.
  How does the admin fee work?
  Quidco charge Ј5 annual fee which is deducted from the cashback that you receive. If you don't earn at least Ј5 then you don't pay anything at all. There are no upfront fees and Quidco don't take any additional commission from affiliate sites (unlike the majority of other cashback sites.)

  Does Quidco offer 'clickthroughs' or 'free points' like Pigsback?
  Quidco don't offer 'clickthroughs' as such but it is possible to earn cashback without spending any money.
  You can get paid small amounts to run searches for items on different sites. You don't actually have to make any purchases to get the cashback - just click through to an advertised site after running a search.
  You can go to the Kelkoo website, for example, via Quidco and search for any item. You just need to type in a keyword and press 'search'. The site will then bring up a list of items from different sites. You need to click through to one of the sites and you will get paid 10p just for searching. There is only one payment per person per day.
  There are similar 'daily clicks' available through High Street Web, Carsource and Shopping.com

  Quidco offer good rates of cashback for certain magazine subscriptions. Just remember that repeatedly taking advantage of the same offer can be classed as 'abuse' and lead to the account being closed! Don't take the mick or these offers get withdrawn from Quidco and everybody misses out.

  Is the cashback guaranteed?
  It is never 100% guaranteed, unfortunately. Each company has statistics listed on the left hand side of the page which indicates their track record in terms of tracking sales and the speed that they pay out cashback. The cashback owed to you is tracked through affiliate links. If you have previously visited a company's website, the commission could be paid to a different party rather than to Quidco. Quidco only pass on the commission once they have been paid by the website involved.
  The best way to avoid any problems with transactions not 'tracking' is to clear your cookies before you make any purchase.
  How do I delete my cookies?
  Intructions for Microsoft Windows 98 and later
• Quit Internet Explorer and quit any instances of Windows Explorer.
• In Control Panel , double-click Internet Options.
• On the General tab, click Delete Cookies under Temporary Internet Files, and then click OK.
• Click OK.

Instructions for Firefox

• Open the Tools menu.
• Select Options.
• Select the Privacy to open sub-menu.
• Click the View cookies item.
• Select one or more cookies you want to remove and click "Remove Cookie". Clicking "Remove All Cookies" will delete all cookies.

One of my transactions hasn't tracked. How do I submit an enquiry?
If you have waited for the length of time recommended by the statistics for that particular merchant, you can submit an earnings enquiry. This is the direct link but you need to be logged in for the link to work: https://www.quidco.com/new-enquiry/
Can I purchase things for other people using my own Quidco account?
No - Quidco rules states that each account should only be used for one person. They cover their costs by taking a one-off fee of Ј5 from each account per year. If you choose to purchase items in other people's names, it could lead to your Quidco account being closed. If a transaction does not track then you will not be able to submit an enquiry if it was not in your name.
Can two different Quidco accounts get paid into the same bank account/paypal account?
Yes - there's no problem with payments going into the same account.

• Hi, Do you know if it's possible to use sites like Moneysupermarket or Confused.com to get & save insurance quotes and then (if they're the cheapest) go through Quidco to retrieve your quote & buy the policy please? Or would I have to start from scratch with Quidco?

• Don't try the retrieve... the case will have likely been allocated to Msupermarket
  Clear cookies , then go to chosen insurer via quidco.
  Possible it may still even show up , if they have your address on records already

  There is a quidco cashback of Ј30 for ordering a new phone through The Mobile Outlet through quidco site's link.
  My question is if I use that link from my quidco account (which is in my name) to order a phone from my wife (including my wife's bank/ card details for the new phone), would I still be entitled for quidco cashback?
  Or would I need to open another quidco account for my wife and order through her account? The thing is I would lose first Ј5 from her account as well here and there isn't anything else that I think she would order for the rest of year from her account.

• This would be against Quidco's rules which you agreed to when you joined.
  Get her to join herself, and contribute her £5 like we all do.
  You could end up getting your own account closed if you try this on, and will definitely get discovered should there be any problem over the transaction and you need to resubmit all the details to Quidco.
