A question about : Quick question on ticket pricing Rose Theatre in Kingston upon Thames

I was thinking of heading over to the Rose Theatre in Kingston upon Thames at some point, I see ticket prices are between Ј5 and Ј25.

Has anyone on here been to this theatre and if so can they explain their seating arrangements with regards to prices i.e. what seats are best, mediocre or worst with regards to price? I'd be quite happy paying for mediocre prices/tickets as long as viewing the stage is at a good vantage.

Any recommendations would be gratefully received.

Thanks

My guess is that the Ј5 tickets are at the top, side, back and Ј25 front, centre. Depending on the production, the cheap seats may have quite limited views
  • Thanks Paddy, I may take a gamble in that case, hopefully the view of the stage won't be too limited.
I would have been happy paying more than Ј5 if I knew it was worth it though not too keen forking out Ј25, for the time being at least. As I work odd shifts I thought I'd take myself along to see a play while I've got a bit of free time, and as it's just for one I thought I might just get away with paying the minimum otherwise I'd be prepared to pay more. Maybe another time if I think it's worth it.
    Thanks again, always worth trying.
  • You may be able to check online to see what has been sold. If the show hasn't sold well (not impossible), you *may* be able to buy a cheap ticket and move forward (I have!). Some of the very cheap seats involve sitting on cushions in front of the stage. But it's not a very big theatre and everywhere has good sightlines so there's no real need to buy top price
