As for how postloop works, forum owners want active sites but attracting people can be tricky. They pay postloops to send it's community of users to post on their boards. We as postloops users earn a few cents for each post (they pay via paypal so the Ј's will come!), and a few cents leads to a few dollars leads to a nice payout every so often.

Read about the site - you do get more of a reward for quality posting and starting new threads.

I grabbed my first payout as soon as I hit the limit, but they've been going for years with no problems.

• What is PostLoop?
  Postloop is a site that allows new websites (Or websites that are struggling to garner enough interest to justify being open) the opportunity to pay for posts. They load up their account with "points" and tell the PostLoop staff to send posts to that web address. For every post they get, PostLoop takes a small percentage of "Points" out of their account, and gives them to the user that made the posts.
  This gives the website owner what he needs (posts) and what the user wants, money for doing it.
  
  How Does it work?
  To start your account you need to get verified, don't worry, this is straight forward, when you join, you'll be asked to make 10 good quality posts on the postloop portal, then a member of the forum staff will activate your account (Within 48 hours, usually about 12)
  After that you'll be given a list of forums that need your help, you start off with a pretty low average score (3.80) and that only allows you to post to a few websites, after a few weeks your average score goes up, meaning you can post to more.
  When you sign up to the forum that's paying for the posts, you're asked for your login details (User + Email) this is used to authenticate the login details across two sites (PostLoop + the site thats paying for the posts)
  Quite a lot of the sites impose "maximum posts per day" this is quite often 5 a day. So after you post 5 forum posts you're at the limit and won't get any more points from the site. 5 posts a day takes around 10 minutes per site. I do 3 a day (15 posts) and get 10 points per day from those 3, so in 10 days I get 100 points.
  After you reach 100 points you're able to cash out (Paypal only) and 100 points takes around 1 week posting daily.
  They pay you 5p per point, so 100 points = Ј20. But you're able to post to a lot more, on the success stories board you can see quite a lot of people earn upwards of Ј50+ a week. It's completely dependent on how many posts you make a week.
  
  Is it Legit?
  Yes, 100%. If you click on the "Success stories" link above, you can see almost everyone gets their paychecks. Postloop take a small percentage of each transaction, this is their payment. That's the only thing they take.
  I've done a little more research into this in an effort to help convince you, these reviews aren't at all biased and are 100% accurate.

  What does the referrer get?
  This is a pretty important question, as I'm sure you're aware I will receive something per every person that signs up under my referral link. This is 20% of all the points you make on the site.
