A question about : Please help! I cleaned my dishwasher a week ago and..

... I can't get rid of the smell of the bloody cleaning stuff It's the sort that comes in a bottle and you put it on an empty wash(Morrisons own) A week later it still has the horrible chemical smell, dishes smell of it when they come out etc I've tried rinsing it, running it empty with just a tablet, running it with a vinegar, leaving it open to vent and just can't get rid of it. I don't even know where it's coming from, it's mostly metal inside.
Suffice to say I'll never go near the stuff again but short of buying a new machine what can I do to get rid of the smell now please?

• Try using a baby bottle sterilizing fluid such as Milton. I used it to get rid of the smell in a fridge. Mix as instructions, then wipe all the internal surfaces and parts. If the smell persists try a cleaning cycle with some soda crystals in.

• Have you posted a message to Morrisons to advise them of the problem and ask for their advice?
