A question about : Yorkshire Bank
Are offering a 2.7% fix over 5 years if I leave my maturing ISA with them. Worth it or not?
Best answers:
- Could you get better elsewhere, e.g in S&S ISA, pensions, or even in current accounts?
- it doesn't strike me as a great idea, Mirador, but obviously none of us know how interest rates will change over the coming 5 years.
perhaps a combination of Cash, perhaps in Current Accounts that pay interest, and Investing your money? - Harrods Bank do 2.25% for a two year savings bond. This is probably a better option , especially if you are a non tax payer. A lot can happen in five years.
