A question about : Carl Lewis Treadmill
I bought a Carl Lewis Treadmill, from their website, 5 months ago, it worked fine for 2 months but developed a fault.
I called them and they told me, they would replace it.
That was 6 weeks ago…So I gave them a call, they said, they don't have carrier as their contract has expired? And will let me know in a few months, if there is a change!!!
What can I do about this? I paid £500 for something that worked for only 8 weeks!
Many Thanks
Colin

- Citizens Advice or Trading Standards should be able to help.
- Did you pay for it on a credit card - you may be able to claim from them though not sure of the ins and outs, maybe others can advise.
- Its called a chargeback-contact your creditcard company. In addition you might want to look at companies house website-do a webcheck to see if there seems to be any problems with the company.
- Grounds that the goods are faulty,as for 5 months I dont know, but i would hurry up before 6 months are up or your legal position could change.
- I got a replacement today, thanks for the replies
- Did you have it pointing in the direction of, or away from, the nearest chemist? This could have affected its performance.
