no turkey left this year

A question about : no turkey left this year

We got a smaller turkey than normal this year. 5.6kg bird. We bought it from a loal butcher and paid Ј18.99. Bargain of the year I think. There was also 2 extra people staying. So here we are on 27th and all the turkey is gone!! Never been known before in my house, I'm usually freezing left over turkey, dividing the left overs into dinner sized servings and putting in the freezer, but not this year.

I've got about 1/2 tin of roses left, few pieces of celebrations. Nobody's eaten any foxes biscuits yet, so got a whole 2 tins of those left. 3 crackers. 1/2 a trifle.

• Same in this house! Not a scrap of Turkey left and I had a bigger bird than you and I had 2 adults and 3 teenage kids lol. I have soooo much chocolate in the cupboard I'm gonna have to take some to work as it just won't get eaten
• Did not get any chocolates this year. Only two of us on Christmas Day and out on 26th so had just Turkey breasts, so no leftovers. Loads of veg over the two days.
  Just pud and cake left. No good for the figure!
