A question about : to NEW people asking advice about holidays READ THIS

To ALL NEW people asking advice about holidays in this section - you are posting your questions in the wrong section and therefore won't get many replies.

This is SUB section and the title of this section is called REPORT BARGAINS, DEALS & SPECIAL OFFERS. This is so everyone can see the bargains as soon as they are highlighted by someone and they are not lost in the mix.

If you wish to ask advice, when you first click on Overseas Holidays and Travel Planning you will see the SUB sections showing near the top of the page, then about 4 or 5 sections down (not very far down at all) you will see the main section for Overseas Holidays - there are STICKY threads for the first few posts then underneath that you will see people's questions. This is the section you need to create a new thread in. I hope this helps - you should get more replies if you start again in the correct place.

You will also see at the bottom of people's posts or answers there is a button called 'Thanks'. To save you having to fill up the forum writing 'thank you' to everyone, you can hit the 'Thanks' button at the bottom of each post and it tells the person you want to thank, that you have thanked them. LOL! Does that make sense?! title=Wink

so, erm, thanks! title=Smile

  • Well said Ponkle. Will you ask a Board Guide to sticky it? If they won't I reckon one of us should come and bump it every day, perhaps then the message will get through!
  • ***More big hugs***
  • Hugs bakatcha!
  • **hig bugs**
  • Hugs back to you.
  • Blankety blank!
  • I can't understand why there is a sudden influx of new people asking holiday/transport questions in the REPORT BARGAINS, DEALS & SPECIAL OFFERS section....
They will get far greater replies in the main Overseas holiday section (read first post on this thread if you don't know where it is). Martin might as well shut down the REPORT BARGAINS, DEALS & SPECIAL OFFERS section soon, as they will all be lost in the mix of holiday questions.
  • LOL!!!
  • People who can't post on the right board should just go to Pontins
  • Arrrghhhhhh, and we were doing so well until today!
Have a bumpity-bump with some hugs!
  • Bumpity AAAGGGHHHHH bump!
  • Thumpity thump
  • I don't think this is working....
  • Maybe should read ALL rather than NEW e.g. currently 4th thread in forum at time of my posting (Feb half term - is it too soon to look for deals?) is by a member since 2003, so he/she will hardly classify themself as new!
  • Will look into amending it...
.....aaagghhh it won't let change the title, only the content of the post.
