A question about : New Highway Code Rules

Newsflash from the DVLA

In order to assist other motorists in identifying potentially dangerous drivers, it's now compulsory for anyone with a lower than average IQ and driving ability to display a warning flag.

The flag (comprising of a red cross on a white background) will be attached to the top of at least one door of their vehicle.

For drivers of exceptionally low ability, additional flags are required

;D

Best answers:

  • saw a car the other day with 4 on it.. 2 ST George cross on the back and blue England flags in the front windows.
  • Now I heard it was only cheapskates who had just one flag on their cars ... although what does that make those of us not flying any, MSEs, very intelligent or both?
  • ive heard that some of these flags fit on cars by placing them between the window and sal thus leaving a small gap. This small gap is great for thieves to easily break into your car. So if you do have flags like this please remove them when you park up.
  • That made me laugh, BazzaD. I'd heard it before, but it's still funny!
  • Apparently the gap is just enough to push something in the gap and it breaks the window but doesn't make a noise like hitting it with a brick....and some older cars the window can actually be forced down once you have a gap :-/......................I did say apparently ;D
  • my 8 yr old son insists that I put the England flag on our car, but as I am Welsh.............. its a no-no !!!!!
  • Try living in rural norfolk - we get portuguese flags on cars floating around = although recently they have disappeared somewhat.
