A question about : New FIT rates from April

Not seen any posts on this but as the RPI figures have been released for December the new FIT rates can be worked out.

Looks like it should be an increase of 1.6% as that was RPI - fortunately not the much lower CPI figure! So the main rate for original installations should be 48.8p per kWh as of April.

• The difference is tiny, but what triggers the higher rate? It is on all meter reading submitted after 1 April, i.e. is pre-April generation paid at the higher rate if the trigger date for payment is April?
