Multi gym

A question about : Multi gym

Hi
I am looking to buy a compact multi gym for basic/beginner weight training, for myself and my partner. We really don't want to spend too much money, and we are fairly limited on space.
I know we are in the midst of January sales , and we have found that the Everlast EV500 from Argos may suit our needs
It is however right at the edge of space needs, at
Size H201, W107, D120cm.
We have looked at many other makes and models too, but they all seem to be much more money
Does anyone have any hints or tips please

• Buy one second hand.
  They are the sort of item people buy with the best of intentions but the majority end up being used as a clothes rack within a fortnight.
  I've bought two, both second hand, at around a quarter of the new price,

• Best advice I can give is have a socket set for putting it together - makes life much easier, you can do it with spanners but it will take 3-4 times as long.
