  • Morning all
We had what I thought was a great night here. D slept 11 straight hours but when he got up this morning he had been sick in his cot. I have no idea when as he didn't cry all night *confused*
We are off to his competition photoshoot this morning but he is full of a cold and is a total snot monster
I hope all Mummies and babies had a good night
  • Morning everyone. That confused me - I wanted to quote things, but no quote button, and things kept being repeated and I was all confubbled.
M - we go to the in laws every Sunday, which is fine, except that it stops us doing anything else iyswim. I don't know how you manage a whole weekend. Cutting it down to just one day, or every other weekend is definitely the way forward.
Dolls - I'm with Susan, dolls are creepy. We do have an action man which she plays with like a doll though. (Which means we also have a gun strategicly hidden at the bottom of the toybox ), and lots of cuddly toys.
  • Morning all xx
Hi to Michelle and Caz who were asking after me I do often lurk on here but don't have much to say so just read and don't post.
My weekend away with my Mummy was brilliant, was nice to just have mother/daughter time. Plus DH had a fab time on his own with Daniel so I can't wait to get away again.... Hmm where shall I go?
  • Where did you go this time Wizadora? And who do you want to go with? If I thought I could get away with a weekend away I have lots of friends-without-kids I could go visit, and have a night out with, and have a lie in too. Luxury. (I have friends with kids that I go visit with Izzy and leave DH home alone because he always refuses to come too).
  • Ooh, new thread
Im so tired and my arm hurts, i used hair removal cream on it last night and now have some sort of scratch on it
  • Morning
Hope the photoshoot goes ok Hammy.
Pleased you had a good weekend Wi3adora.
Hope you arm feels better soon EA.
Just a quiet day here with nothing exciting planned.
Have a good day all xx

Kian has learnt how to brush his hair. so cute. if you say 'brush your hair kian' he puts his brush to the back of his head and moves his hand. wants to walk everywhere now as well. so we're spending a lot of time holding his hands so he can walk from one side of the room to the other. then he will do about 10 lengths of the room pushing one of his walkers. smiling at us as he goes by.
tried to video him brushing his hair but he threw the brush when i asked him to brush his hair
ETA: have no idea why my post has the title 'Mrs' i suspect Kian might have something to do with that.....
  • Morning all
No church for me this morning, I have an upset tummy... Have had since Thursday and it seems to be getting slowly worse? I feel fine in myself, just daren't move far from the toilet... And irritatingly it woke me up at 7am and I couldn't get back to sleep... Typically Caitlyn slept until 8:30!!
Wonder what time my Mum will bring Aimee back today...
  • Morning All. Ava sleeping in her cot is going great for her only woke once at 5.30 then went back over till 7 , I gave her a dream feed at 11. We have got one of those monitors with the pad that checks the breathing and beeps if shes still for 20 secs or whatever - stupid thing went off 4 times I,m flipping knackered - think the mattress might be too thick or might need to move pad as Ava somehow wedges herself next to her toy on the side of her cot no matter what. Oh the oyster does sound good i'm lazy when it comes to folding and un-folding.
Michelle u must have the patience of a saint and Bruno is a very close second.
my MIL is lovely but she still irks me sometimes but i,m much more chilled second time round.
  • Morning all
DH is at work for couple of hours and then we're packing up and heading down south. I desperately need L to fall asleep so i can get on and do the washing up from last night...
new hair piccies on my facebook
am starving marvin so better get some brekkie on the go too x
  • i like the colour CAFC, mine is a similar shade at the moment. would love to go to some of the lovely reds at the moment but am scared i wont like it. so am working my way up to it
  • Oh a new thread - maybe I'll try and do some posting on this one. I'm much the same as wi3adora (nice to see you btw) that I read but don't have much to say - or I have a battle with L just to get near the lappy. He loves pressing the power button :/
We've had our appointment through with the dietician - 1st Nov - so fingers crossed we get somewhere. we're no longer under the community nurses (it's only a 6 week thing) so back under the GP for his eczema.
  • Morning all!
I am feeling a bit fluffier this morning but will need a cup of tea, a shower and some Chinese food to restore my sense of general chirpiness. I did at Bruno's monkey though...
Hope the photoshoot goes well Hammy - and hope the football goes better Jillie
  • MORNING!
Gosh, you guys can't half chatter, can you? I had about 8 pages to catch up on from last night!!
(hammy, when you get a chance can you remove the bit about mat leave by my name? No longer relevant! )
Just trying to get ready for church, not sure what else is planned for the day.
  • Saleshopper - Have you changed the sensitivity? We had to turn ours down when T moved into his big cot. He moves all about and it never goes off now.
Michelle - lots of hugs for you. I think you should refuse to go until A gets her cot And definitely look at reducing it at some point...when you go back to work all your time with A will be at the ILs! Do they live near you?
I can't remember much else as I caught up earlier this morning.
I remembere LOLing at E and his poor monkey
We had a much better night with T back to his nomal of 1 wake up at 4.30 then back to sleep until 7.30. I'm feeling much more human today as a result. He was so cute when I went in. He'd kicked his seahorse and made the music play and was shaking his blue bear around using its ribbon! The other teddies were scattered around the cot so they'd obviously received the same treatment. He was so excited to see me
