A question about : M&S Sale extra discount...ends midnight
This has been widely advertised.....but it's possible to get even more for your money!
I was in Bloomfields (Bangor) this afternoon and a !kind member of staff told me this (she said that it was a mistake on the tills and that all the staff know about it but they aren't going to tell the managers until after they have got their discounts!)
Look out for multiple buy items.........
eg I bought cava sparkling wine
Normal price Ј5.99 , but at the moment on offer..2 for Ј8.
Reciept shows:
Six bottles @ Ј5.99.....Ј35.94
20% discount: ! !- Ј7.19
Buy 6 save 5%: !-Ј1.80
Cava 2 for Ј8 : ! !- Ј11.94
Total discounts : Ј20.93 ! ! Price to pay Ј15.01
ie each bottle Ј5.99 now Ј2.50
This applies to all multibuys.....20% off original price, then they add further discounts!
Not sure about other M&S stores, but Bloomfields is open until midnight tonight.

- Thanks for that Pink-Winged. I too myself off to our (unlicenced) M&S here in Newry. I bought some of their 3 for 2 toiletries and not only did I get 20% come off each individual item I also got the 3rd item free...so a double discount! Brilliant, hope they have this again! And that nobody tells whoever programs their tills... :

Rumour has it that there will be another 20% day before Christmas........lets hope so!
The 20% sale is still available on-line until 2.00pm today, because the website crashed yesterday.
I would love to order from there too, but Mr pw has accidentally (?) taken my purse , containing all my cards to work in his car this morning

I'll keep my eyes open for another 20% discount day - unfortunately I have been out all day and could not avail of the extension on their website.
