A question about : Moving main waste stack from kitchen to outside
Hi, some advice please.
We are currently renovating a house we hve bought both full kitchen and bathroom re-done. The waste pipe for the toilet and stack runs from the bathroom, directly above kitchen, into the corner of our kitchen, through the floor and outside. Their is a manhole outside in our back garden. Basically we are wanting to move the waste pipework from inside to outside. Literally this would mean moving the full pipework from inside the external wall to outside, so parallel on the outside wall to where it is on the inside. Is this a big job? We didn't reallt want to box it in as wanted plenty of room for a table and we are taking up the concrete in the kitchen anyway to put down stone flooring.
Thanks Ryan

- It's not big, but it isn't insignificant.
Building control need to be involved, digging needs to be done. How much digging would depend on the condition of the pipe underground. If you have someone in digging for you anyway then it may not be too much effort to organise.
The actual piping is dirt cheap. It's all labour.
