A question about : USA Import

Anyone familiar with importing a Vehicle from the USA?... I'm talking familiar with it not googling it?... Say for Instance a Vehicle was 50K=60k USD what would I be looking at all in to be carrying Hay with to the Sheep here?.. Any views advice most welcome... I've a Cummins Ram Itch needing to be scratched.... Lot of the stuff available here don't tick the boxes

I need some advice regarding my recent car issues. I've had the car 14 months (bought second hand from a main dealer, advertised with no problems and full service history). It had done approximately 23,000 miles when I purchased it. As of today it's done 33,000.

A question about : Buying ex-motability car?

I just looked at a 2011 C3 Picasso at Arnold Clark and after a few questions about the 1 previous owner, it turns out it is an ex-motability car. I asked if I could see all the service records and they interestingly weren't available but they said they were going to contact the previous owner to ask questions and get the documentation.

A question about : Owe Money to Dealer?

Hi,

Just looking for a bit of advice about a recently bought second hand car.

The car value was 8500, and i paid a deposit of Ј2500. when i went to collect the car a pay the balance the dealer had the invoice made out for Ј5900 (Ј100 less than expected), i said nothing.

Since then i have received a couple of letters asking for the oustanding Ј100, that last of which threatens legal action.

The questions is, do i pay or am i liable to end up in court (in Northern Ireland if that matters).

A question about : What does my licence say I can drive?

Maybe it is just me, but these things don't seem all that clear at all.

I am 28 and passed my car test when I was about 19/20.

I have just had my shiny new licence through and I notice on the back that it has date of issue and expiry dates for the following categories:
AM
A
B1
B
fkpq

As far as I can see from the little pictures, B is the car - that makes sense.

I have searched on google and AM appears to be a moped.

Anyone know of any wiring issues on a 2006 Focus, petrol, auto to help point me in the right direction?

It's thrown up so many random fault codes suggesting a wiring problem or worst case scenario, ECU. Wiring faults can be a pain to find, but if anyone knows if there are any common one/s would be grateful!

A question about : Keyless entry

I'm having an odd problem that seems to be confusing the dealer.

My renault megane is playing up with it's keyless entry system, not every week but it is a real concern when it does happen.

My main concern is when returning to the car in the morning, the car is already unlocked and sometimes the car won't automatically unlock unless you press the remote.
