A question about : where to go out?

Where do you go out for the day? We are having trouble finding places to go even with the Tripadvisor phone app.

There are Museums, National Trust Properties, Amusement Parks, Theatres and Cinemas, Walks and Days by the beach.

Is there anything else, have I missed something? Most of it seems geared up to summer too so we are feeling flat at this time of year.

I wouldn't mind even spending some money if the kids enjoyed themselves, just need to find somewhere.

A question about : World Book Day Costume Ideas

OMG it's world book day and the kids have to dress up for a prize at school.

They don't necessarily have to win it's the costume that is the problem - what to do?

My boys have no idea what their favorite book is.

I thought it would be easier thinking of a costume we could actually manage and then match it to a good book. Oh no it's just not happening.

So far I thought pirate could be easy or Gorilla onesie, or just onesie but no it's still not happening.

My DS is 3.5 and has in recent days started coming home from nursery using a range of not very nice words and phrases.

A question about : Craft activity ideas

My daughter loves craft activities and I am trying to come up with some ideas for things to do with her but I am not the most imaginative of people and would really appreciate any suggestions for things for her to do (and things that I can do with her). I have had a look on Pinterest and got some good ideas but would love more. She is only 3 so it would be fairly basic stuff like gluing/sticking etc but any suggestions would be very gratefully received!

So it's time for me to go back to work after maternity leave. I had a few issues along the way about whether to go back full or part time and which job to go for, but in the end I'm working 2 days a week which is perfect in many respects. Except the drop in income is significant!

A question about : 'My Mothercare' vouchers

Has anyone signed up to the 'My Mothercare' club and know what the vouchers are and how long it takes to receive them? My daughter needs a new car seat in the next month or so. I've just signed up and wondered if there might be a voucher that would give me money off the seat.
