A question about : Metro application and borrowed money returned by friend
Hi Guys
We are in the process of buying our first property with the help of Mortgage adviser. We have received AIP from Metro Bank. They completed a Valuation survey and we are waiting for Metro’s decision, after all the documents were submitted in in 1st week of Feb-15.
Does anyone here has past experience with METRO bank for Mortgages?
I also had helped a friend for past few months and all these help(money to friend) was done via bank transfers (so no cash business ambiguity). The friend has now returned all the money, again via a bank transfer and I have explained this to the bank and solicitor , as I had to submit my bank statements. Would that pose any problem for me?
Any guidance, would be greatly appreciated.
Best answers:
- presumably your mortgage adviser is aware of this?
- If you mean - if my mortgage adviser is aware of this " friend's situation" - then Yes:
If you mean - if my mortgage adviser is aware of METRO's decision: then I must say , my experience with this mortgage adviser hasn't been that rosy. They missed out of my documents been sent to them, they keep asking for documents which I have already sent to them. They don't share any updates on time .
