Tonight 28/10/04 Should We Worry About Spending!!.7pm BBC1.

I thought it got a great point across with the cards and how gullible we can be.

Plus the usual, Martin love the hairy chest, open another button next time
Why do you have to look all lovely and put me off my trail of thought when watching these programes ;D
I'm thinking yes your right Martin aren't you lovely you tell em Martin, oh look at his chest :-[.
You see what I mean and to make matters worse I've taped you, so I can check your chest out again and again and again, pheeewwwww I'm hot now.

• Personally I think Richard Hammond is sexier (I'll get lynched for that now - sorry Martin).
  But the show was great. He was soooo right about the credit card, it really did seem like a good deal!
  The whole show really made me think about how I shop. From now on I won't buy things (like shoes) on impulse, instead I'll wait for a while and see if I still want/need it.

  That was a fun & eye opening day, when that item was recorded!!
  We even had 1 lady, saying she didn't know what she'd bought, how much she'd spent & after chatting to us, intended to take her purchases back for a refund!!

• Martin was not in it as much as I hoped but he was effective when he was. I myself am maybe lucky that I don't like shopping so this show maybe has less effect on me to what I already know.
  People like Martin could save people so much money its beyond belief. The only down side is that if everyone was wise to it all then the world would be a different place, maybe the economy would collapse.

  Can you give us all the details for the credit card that you showed on the programme last night? - it would be interesting to see how many people would fall for the card's bad points who haven't seen the programme.

• Poor Edinburghlass and Finish Rich..........missing their Martin fix.
  You might not want it........but if you had Sky satellite tv you would be able to watch television transmissions from other regions.
  I live in Yorkshire, England but I like to watch Scottish football. I had Sky installed so that I can watch Scotsport which is transmitted on Sunday afternoons on Grampian TV.
