A question about : Long lasting blushers & bronzers

I think I've found super long lasting versions of nearly every type of make up - except blushers & bronzers.

Anyone know any super long lasting versions?

Best answers:

  • No one at all?
  • I like Body Shop blushes and Seventeen Cheek Stamp and works for me.
  • I think its all about the application rather than the brand. Make up artists who do wedding make up manage to get it to last all day until late evening with only a touch up of lips and powdering the nose.
So its all about the base, before apply powder blush or bronzer.
I have normal skin I will say, powder before and lasts until tea time for blush. I don't do bronzer.
  • I love the Benefit tints; benetint (red) and lollitint (pink orchid-y) specifically.
They do cost a little bit more but last for ages (I got my lollitint almost a year ago and its still well above the brush line (used everyday) and they are stains so last forever (until the next day even after taking my make up off several times!)
In my opinion; the cost is negated by how long they last and the quality.
It's mascara and eyeliner (liquid) that I'm struggle to find a favourite of!
  • I believe a lot of the lasting power is in the technique.
I would recommend a primer then layer upwards. maybe try using a cream followed by a powder. This might help the staying power.
I am a fan of mineral cosmetics, the Bellapierre Bronzer is wonderful.
  • I find the hourglass ambient lighting blushes stay on well, but I sometimes layer a pale cream blush with a powder blush for maximum longevity. I've read good things about the Balm Instain powder blushes, they do stain apparently.
  • I use either maybelline dream matte blush or soap & glory lip and cheek tint, both last all day and into evening.
  • I should have said, blushers have to be powder for me.
