A question about : Job centre+ : work for council (Glasgow only i guess)

i went into jc+ yesterday as im doin a retail training course and was called in to apply for 15 pounds a week during training week(lone parent). the staff member also handed out info leaflet regarding jobs in admin at glasgow city council. for that i had to sign a contract with them, they will provide training for ECDL and ADV. ECDL and after that you got a job. i know its a easy peasy course if you know a little about computers and word processing. i will do it but later. anyone interested contact your local JC+ and ask them if they any courses etc.
