A question about : Ј5 off Ј40 spend at Aldi coupon!!!!

Voucher for Ј5 off a Ј40 shop at ALDI, in The Daily Mirror and The Daily Record this coming Thursday 26th September 2013.

Valid from Thursday 26th September until close of business on 3rd October 2013.

• I am a greedy so and so I always get 2 papers and use the 2 coupons 1 on the Thursday they come out and one the following Thursday cos they are valid till close of store on the Thursday.
• Anyone know what the other vouchers are this time please?

  Joe mentions "we" - a Ј40 basket for more than one person is trivial. Unless your basket is mostly fresh fruit and vegetables there is little reason not to shop at Aldi.
• like others I struggle to spend that in a shop, but stock up on non perishables so pays off that way too as less trips to fill store cupboard. Or treat myself to something a little indulgent with the saving.

  Could one of you please explain what you're havering about? Are you really all very frugal, sensible people who never spend Ј20 in a supermarket for a week's food and alcohol? Or are you claiming that Aldi is magically different and you would not spend Ј40 for a fortnight's shopping there but would spend that much elsewhere?
  I think you mean the latter but that requires explanation.
• I already acknowledged the meaning of 'we' in post #10. I am not sure what is strange about my enquiry. My readings of the three posters is that you are not saying that you never spend Ј40 in a supermarket. This may be incorrect. If, like me, you never spend Ј40 then fair enough - that is the information I wanted. But I read that the three of you would not spend Ј40 only in Aldi but you would spend it (in one go) in other shops. If any of you are in that position then I think it would be nice to explain why as it makes no sense to me.
  I don't see many people posting they can't get 5p off their petrol because they never spend Ј50 in a supermarket.
• well I never spend Ј50.00 in a supermarket I doubt I spend Ј20.00 in one go,but then I live alone and am fairly frugal with my shopping.I don't buy alcahol so that cuts the bill down a bit I suppose.My normal shop is around Ј12-15 per week for all of my shopping so 5p of a litre of diesel would be nice but as I only fill the tank up once a month I can usually get it at morrisons in Sittingbourne which gives me points towards a Ј5.00 voucher around once evry three months.Plus the diesel is cheaper there than in MrTs or sainsbobs.My DD and son-in-law get money off coupons for petrol but then they have 4 boys to feed so their shopping bill is a lot higher than mine
