A question about : Is It The End of Cheap Cheap Train Tickets??
Sorry to bother you all. I have been traveling to London from Littlehampton a fair bit recently (mainly as I was a London Ambassador) and I was always able to find cheap train tickets around the Ј4 - Ј8 ish each way, depending on time etc. Im going up to London this weekend and all I can see are the Super Off Peak Singles at Ј15.90. Have they stopped the cheap tickets? Or am I doing something wrong? Im going up on the Saturday and coming back very late on Sunday probably to Brighton as Im going to a concert and will most likely miss the last train.
Best answers:
- No it's not 'the end of cheap cheap tickets'
There are still cheap tickets on both days if you choose the right times
Sounds like they have sold out for most of Saturday though. No problems the following Saturday.....
Moral - book early - Thanks, I have never had to book more than a day or two before the trip and always had the cheap tickets. Guess I will have to get on the ball quicker in future! Thanks again :-)
