A question about : Issues with Three Mobile Broadband
I'm not sure if this is in the right place, but yesterday I bought a data Sim from the 3 shop and topped up Ј25 for 7GB a month of data.
Since I've had this sim, it's been really sloooooooow. Forget about watching videos or using I-player it's impossible. I read the coverage map, and the part of Weston-super-Mare I live only has 3G only, not 3G+.
I've tried in another phone, no joy - even moved the mifi modem around the flat, and no joy at all. I feel as if I have wasted my money and know there is no way to get it back.
Any tips or pointers?

- You've hit the nail on the head, in a sizeable part of Weston Three is stuck on ordinary 3G and is heavily congested. There doesn't seem to be a timescale for an upgrade to DC-HSDPA which I guess means there is a backhaul issue.
They do say the 4G is due soon, however it looks like this will initially only cover the eastern part of town. Quite odd that Three have such a prominent gap in coverage. - I think the best thing to do is go back to the store and explain to them. Certainly for the time being EE's 4G is much better.
