A question about : Hull
My shed was destroyed in a tidal surge last December. I struggled to find an off-the-shelf shed to my design and size requirements.
My insurance company was allowing Ј800-Ј1000 (plus fitting) to replace my old shiplap shed. Swann Timber Co. of Hull made me a bespoke shed (7'x7') in loglap (which is better than shiplap) for Ј440 fitted! An absolute bargain and it is much better quality than what the insurance company would have installed at around twice the price!
Most sheds feel pretty flimsy but this shed is absolutely rock solid with no give in the timber at all. It has two windows and double doors. A tongue and grooved wooden floor is included in the price and the exterior of the shed is treated with red cedar stain. I think other colours are available on request.
I cannot believe what a bargain this shed is. Swann Timber Co. apparently do a lot of work for Hull City Council which, I think, is a testament in itself. It is a three generation family-run firm.
