A question about : Hotel Price
Hi,
If this is the wrong thread for this question my apologies.
I recently booked an hotel for 3 nights. The room was advertised as Ј300 with breakfast or Ј75 Room Only. Obviously I thought this deal was too good to be true, but I have had a confirmation email from the hotel to tell me my 3 nights are booked for total price of Ј75.
If the hotel now realises that their website has a fault on it and the price should have been Ј75 per night, not Ј75 for 3 nights, can they charge me extra for the room I booked?
Thank you for any info you can give me on this subject
Best answers:
- Its will likely be in their T's & C's somewhere that miss prices don't have to be honoured.
In that case they should give you the option of paying to full price of being refunded your Ј75..... - Correct, they don't have to honour it as it is clearly a mistake.
- I would email the hotel to confirm your booking and see what they say, you wouldnt want to turn up and your rooms has been cancelled, no need to mention the price just confirmation your room is booked and fully paid,
- Thanks all. I emailed the hotel and there was a fault on their website, but as a gesture of good will they gave me a reduced rate for the 3 nights.
