A question about : home assessment

can anyone tell me their experience of home assessments

what do they do as far as examination goes as you obviously dont have a bench in your home.

  • Hi, I had a home assessment back in June. Other than talking to me about how my condition affects my daily life, etc, the assessor got me to lift my arms as high as possible above my head, straight in front, to the side and behind me. He also got me to try and lift my legs as high as I could both straight in front and bending them at the knee and lifting. I also had to try and bend from the knees and bend forward from the waist. He had also watched me walking - using a crutch and the wall to steady myself. There's nothing invasive and if you're in pain you just stop. Good luck.
