A question about : Head out of sand and dealing with the defaults
hi,
I have finally got to a point where just want all of the debt gone and feel ready to try to deal with the defaults that have sat on my credit file for what feels like forever but am hoping someone can help with a couple of questions. I have listed below the default info
Capital 1 CCard - Ј3401 defaulted 12/2012
Barclaycard Ј777 defaulted 5/2011
O2 phone Ј912 defaulted 2/2010
I am inclined to try to deal with the capital 1 card first as that is going to sit on my file until the end of 2018 but just wondered if i start paying these defaults, if i have to keep paying if the 6year date falls before i have finished paying it all off? Also they have all been sold on to debt companys.
any advice gratefully received
thanks

- If they have been sold on to DCA try the three letter process.
