A question about : Great service from Yorkshire Water!

After recent horrendously inefficient dealings with the likes of Npower, and BT it was refreshing to find a company who puts them to shame.

After receiving a bill from Yorkshire Water to increase my DD due to higher usage of water coincided with plumbing work to fix a leaking toilet cistern I contacted them on the 21st January for advice. They advised I take a meter reading and then follow this up two weeks later with a second reading and they would most likely refund my excess usage.

I rang in with the second reading on Friday 6th February and lo and behold I had a quick conversation with somebody who knew all about my problem and assured me somebody would be in touch.

True to their word Tuesday 10th February they rang to quickly clarify that all the details were correct before agreeing to amend my direct debit and issue a refund for the excess supply.

Yorkshire Water are a ray of sunshine in a very cloudy sky!
