A question about : GEC Meter >>> logo like a swastika

There is a small symbol on my domestic household electricity meter. It resembles a swastika (see below). Does that symbol indicate that it has an anti-reversal feature? What would be the name of the feature that stops meters going backwards?

• I'm getting old and my eyes are not as good as they were but I'd call that an image of a ratchet rather than a swastika.
