A question about : Frontline, Flevox And Fipronil Pt2

If you treat your pets with any product that contains Fipronil then you really should look up the reality and seriousness of possible side effects :
Nervous system damage – Fipronil is a neurotoxin, causing damage to the fleas’ nervous system. It can have the same effect on your dog, causing symptoms such as convulsions, body twitches, loss of appetite, unsteady gait and other effects.
Organ damage – Autopsies have shown an accumulation of fipronil in canine livers and kidneys, causing an increase in organ weight. Fipronil has also been shown to alter the levels of hormone secreted by the thyroid gland.
I'll leave you to discover much more for yourselve's. Including info on it's carcinogenic properties and the possibility it has been involved in the deaths of kennel hands.

I thought I was going to lose my dog last weekend.

Luckily we Googled Fipronil + adverse reaction as soon as the symptoms appeared. I've been told that our quickly re-washing the dog to get the stuff off her probably saved her life.

The website that we purchased our flea treatment from :

https://www.petfleas.co.uk

Appears to contain little or no information about the seriousness of any possible side effects. If it is there I can't find it, should it be more prominent?

On Sat 21-02-15 petfleas.co.uk invited me to review their service on a website called 'Trustpilot'. This review has been suppressed by Trustpilot in collusion with petfleas.co.uk.

Draw your own conclusions.
