Free events in Camden, London

A question about : Free events in Camden, London

Hi everyone, my friend and I are travelling to London next weekend and wondered if there is anything on that is free?

We are travelling from Portsmouth and Edinburgh respectively and don't know the area very well. In fact last time I was in London was 10 years ago.

Can anyone suggest things we can do thats free or low cost.

• Most tourist information offices anywhere in the UK do listings of events. Camden has a TIO. Googling Camden and tourism brings up quite a lot of sites. Without giving any clues as to your ages and interests (other than gothiness) it would be quite hard to suggest anything. Wandering round Camden Market would probably entertain you for quite a while, but whether it would be free is another matter. There will be parks, there will be interesting buildings to look at, there will be buskers and street entertainers.
