Best answers:

  • tell them you dont want it doing and find somebody who does total replacement rather than backing board and 10mm cover board over the top
  • thanks thebaldwindowfitter for your response, i am sorry to be pain but can elaborate what you mean for us novice
    cheers
  • as above you want to find somebody who uses full replacement 16mm-22mm boards for fascia and 10mm soffit board not done as this company do
  • Buy materials then get a joiner to quote. ?
we did our own, best quality upvc cost under 200!
  • thanks for your response, we are just unable to go through this as we are both working and finding a joiner to quote and securing the material does require time, something we both struggle with.
  • Hi I have just had new facias, soffits and guttering done but I can not open my window now as it hits of the soffits. Was told by person who done it , it's fine and can't be fixed as boards are to low. Who should be reasonable for putting this right me or the company?
