A question about : Extremely cheap long hair trimming in Cardiff?

Hi all,

I have long thin hair and would like to find someone who can trim the tips by couple inches and possibly the fringe for like 4-5 quid, I am a student - cannot afford pay more than that for a 5 minutes job!
Thanks.

Best answers:

  • It wouldn't be a five minute job, even if it is, you are wanting a haircut by a professional.
    Buy cheap, get cheap.
Is there a hairdressing college near you you go enquire at.
  • Hi Sunshine,
I recently braved being a hair model for Abi at Guy Christian at Cardiff Bay. Got a decent haircut totally free of charge and she was supervised whilst doing it. She's near the end of her training but if you call the salon you might just squeeze in while she's still doing freebies!
    Good luck!
  • McKneff, I dont mind trainees! Just thought someone could recommend me a specific place with a bunch of them
CinnamonGirl, thanks! I will give it a try if dont find anything in town.
  • Coleg Glan Hafren runs a commercial hair and beauty training salon in Cardiff's Castle Arcade, called the Design Academy.

You could contact them and ask how much for a dry trim
  • Alternatively, check out local barbers. they are often cheaper for a trim
  • There's a hairdresser on City Road that does free trainee haircuts once a week.. I think its called Creations, its kinda opposite Tenkaichi the Japanese Noodle bar. Give them a ring? :-)
  • Can you not do your own fringe and get one of your friends to trim the ends? I trim my daughters hair and it looks nice, or come to newcastle and i'll trim it for you!!
