A question about : Extreme admin charges from FlyBe

If you don't take a flight, you are entitled to claim the tax unpaid by the airline. I set about claiming the tax back and got this in return this morning:Dear Tuskar_Rock

With reference to your request for refund of taxes. Flybe charge an administration fee of Ј25 per person, per sector [that's flight leg].

As your taxes total Ј52.50 per person, this would be subject to an admin. fee of Ј50 per person, leaving a balance to refund of Ј2.50 per person.

Please be advised we have today refunded Ј2.50 back onto the card that made the original payment.

Please allow 3 – 5 working days for it to clear.
Surely this is unfair charging! It must have taken them 15 minutes!

  • I Agree i am currently in the process of claiming the tax back from jet2.com on the website it says the admin fee for this is Ј40!
    Who should i complain too?
