A question about : Expat returning to UK after 6 years
Hi, first post - be gentle.
I'm an Expat about to move back to the UK. I have not had a UK address for 6 years and the only credit I have had in the UK has been a credit card with my UK bank account (although registered to my foreign address). Used the card a few times a month and always paid up.
Does anyone know if that card will go towards my credit file even though it was a foreign address?
I presume I'll have no chance of getting a mobile phone contract.
Any advice appreciated.

- If you change the address the credit card company has to your new UK one then the history of it should stay on your report now you are back.
