A question about : Euro conversion
I hope to be shortly receiving an inheritance from a relative in Ireland, so I expect it will be in Euro's (tax paid) What is the most cost effective way, of converting the money to sterling, or will all banks rip me off. I intend to invest the bulk of the inheritance, but don't know if one company charges less and gives the proper rate for the conversion over any other.
Thanks
Alistair

- Citibank offers Ђ savings and current accounts; no charges are incurred when changing currency and the exchange rate is very competitive. It depends whether the amount involved makes it worth the hassle of opening an account there.
